Mood: Amuuuused.

So, I have ultimately decided to sit down and write my personal analysis of The End of Evangelion. Since it seems to be something I am asked often.

At the current, I have to re-watch it (again), so I can jot down the proper notes and such, but this is decidedly a strange and epic tackling of sorts. I realize that I would be doomed without my evident interest in psychology/religious allusions/lore, et cetera. So, thanking the fact I was and still am an extreme nerd for all listed (and more).

Also, my life is bizarre. It ends up that a co-worker of mine also adores anime. And videogames. And we like all the same ones. I never thought I would find someone who actually liked the same ones as I, never mind the same games. Then again, he is considerably younger than most in there, like myself.

It is also nice, as I acquired a fellow English-dork hostess. She was an old classmate of mine, but we never really spoke to each other up until now. Funny how that seems to work.

So, enough of that rambling:

If anyone has any specific questions they want answered or points they want analyzed in The End of Evangelion or Evangelion in general, I will be happy to help. Also, they would be appreciated as I would know where to start. I do not guarantee they'll be perfect, but -- Well, better than completely unanswered, I suppose?

[II. Spring makes Wheaties lazy.]

Mood: Chipper. In need of more coffee. A tad sleepy.

Sitting in my college's language lab, I've come upon the conclusion that the flocking masses in the Dimple is a clear indication that no one is interested in doing school work, anymore.

Not that I blame them, I'm no more interested than they are.

I know I shouldn't be this relaxed, seeing as my finals are coming up very quickly, but I figure I can bite my nails later and stay up until ungodly hours of the night if the weather keeps providing warm, beautiful days like this one.

Alternately, we started discussing prose poetry in my class, today. Being a fiction-writer, I'm glad. I used to be more of a poet, but within the last few years I've really switched over. I believe that must be readily apparent, or if it isn't, I'm very pleased.

In terms of projects, this sixth chapter is coming along very slowly. I think it might be the more involved, emotional edge to this installment. I assume I'll do better if I switch scenes whenever it suits my fancy and fill-in-the-blanks, later. I've been doing that more often for this, and it seems to work well. Meet Me at the End of the World is by far my most invested fan-fiction to date.

That being said, I'm very sleepy. I'm almost tempted to skip class and go home -- You know, just indulge myself with a blanket on the front lawn and curl up. You never get too old for that.

Well, at least you shouldn't. Hahah.

Oh! The fish are out in Peacock Pond, again. That's always a good sign that the weather has shifted for the better. The sun turtles and cow-duck are paddling about, as well. Even the partially albino robin returned. :D

---

Well, I think I've nicely doomed myself. I ended up signing up for Springkink and what ended up happening was at LEAST a 14k AU fic idea.

Urrgh. Why? Why couldn't I have just finished the other, first? xD;
